1. Introduction
The Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team DREAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 (hereinafter referred to as “the Tournament”) will be held by KLab Inc. and will be run by KLab Inc. and the companies that it hires will comprise the Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team Dream Championship Organiser (hereinafter referred to as “the Organiser”). By reading the following Terms of the Tournament (hereinafter referred to as “the TOT”), the participant is acknowledging their consent upon entering the Tournament.
The Organiser will hold the Tournament as per the TOT, the Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team Terms of Use (hereinafter “Game Terms of Use”) as defined by KLab Inc., and all regulations and rules published in relation to the Tournament (hereinafter, the TOT and Game Terms of Use will be referred to as “Terms”). The TOT may be supplemented or amended depending on the operational circumstances.
Moreover, in order to ensure the fairness, competitiveness, and smooth operation of the Tournament, the Organiser has the right to take any of the following measures without prior notice, even during the Tournament period.
1. Changing game specifications in order to add new features, fix bugs, or make game balance adjustments.
2. Changing and adjusting rules and Online Mode environment of each match, including Qualifier rounds.
3. Arbitrating on rematches and nullifying matches if the Organiser judges that a system issue or event involving a considerable lack of fairness has occurred.
4. Responding to any other matter not stipulated in the Terms, and arbitrating when the Organiser judges that the application of the Terms would lead to a considerable lack of fairness.
2. Tournament Format
2.1 Overview
This tournament is the official competition for the smartphone game “Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team,” provided by KLab Inc. Participants will compete in matches structured as outlined in Section 2.3. Prizes or monetary rewards will be awarded to the top-performing players who successfully advance through the competition.
2.2 Game Version Used

This Tournament will be conducted using the latest version of “Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team,” available on the App Store, Google Play, and HUAWEI AppGallery.

Please note that the winner of the previous Tournament, “Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team DREAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2025”, will be given no seeding rights, and all players will have to start at the Qualifiers.

3. Preliminary and Second Qualifiers
3.1 Entry Qualifications
Players who meet all of the following conditions will be eligible to participate:
1. Have not violated the Terms of Use of Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team.
2. Agree to comply with all provisions of the Tournament’s Terms (TOT) and other applicable Rules, etc.
3.2 Rules
3.2.1 Second Qualifier
1. The Second Qualifier will use the Dream Team Cup event, which will be held as a Rank Match Mode Event on this app during the event period.
2. The Rank Match and Dream Team Cup event rules are based on the regulations detailed on this app.
3.3 Invitation to the Third Qualifier
Players who meet the following conditions will be invited to the Third Qualifier.
-Obtained the two required Qualifiers Badges.
-Placed Top 4 in the May – July Rank Matches or Time Attack, or placed Top 4 in the August Dream Team Cup Japanese Version or Global Version.
3.4 Third Qualifier Invitation Spot Advancement
1. If the Organiser deems that a player who has received an invitation to the Third Qualifier will not be able to participate due to various circumstances such as failing to submit the required documents by the deadline, withdrawing from the Tournament, or failing to make contact even after the response deadline has passed, invitation spots will be offered to players in order of the highest ranking for each of the passing criteria.
2. If a Third Qualifier participant has not been confirmed by three days before the event (JST), their slot will be deemed a loss by default.

4.1 Entry Qualifications
Players who meet all of the below criteria will qualify to participate in the Third Qualifier.
1. Have not violated the Terms of Use of Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team.
2. Have not violated the Rules, etc. in previous tournaments hosted by the Organiser, nor have been disqualified or removed from any such tournaments.
3. Have achieved the required results in the in-game Qualifiers, and received an invitation to the Third Qualifier.
4. Agree to comply with the Tournament’s Terms (TOT).
5. For participants residing in Japan, be at least 18 years of age. For participants residing outside Japan, be at least 18 years of age and have reached the age of majority in their respective jurisdiction of residence.
6. If advancing to the Final Tournament, be able to sign an appearance agreement based on the provided template.

7. Upon earning the right to participate in the Third Qualifier, have registered their participation information (hereinafter, “Entry”) and confirmed their intent to enter a performance agreement on the form specified by the Organiser within the given deadline.
8. At the time of entry, you must be able to present an ID card issued by a public institution (such as one that shows your date of birth and is still valid). Additionally, throughout the Tournament period, including the day of the Tournament, identity verification must be possible at all times using a method specified by the Organiser, primarily via real-time video calls.
9. At the time of entry, you must be able to prove, using a method specified by the Organiser, that the Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team account with which you earned the right to participate in the Online Tournament belongs to you.
10. You must be able to participate in the Tournament according to the schedule outlined in Chapter 1, Section 3.
11. You must be able to remain in continuous contact with the Organiser throughout the Tournament period.
12. You must be able to communicate fluently in one of the following languages: Japanese, English, French, Arabic, Chinese (Traditional Chinese), Italian, Spanish, or German.
13. You must not be an affiliate or relative of the Organiser.
14. You must not engage in any conduct that violates the Prohibited Conduct guidelines.
15. You must not enter the Tournament using an offensive or inappropriate player name.
16. You must not be affiliated with any anti-social organisations (including those equivalent to such organisations) and must not be subject to regulations by Japan, the United States, or any other countries specified by the Organiser (including persons residing in OFAC-sanctioned countries or regions).
17. There must be no legal or procedural restrictions (such as suspensions, limitations, or approval requirements from government authorities or financial institutions) that prevent the shipment of prizes or the transfer of monetary rewards.
18. If you reside outside Japan, your participation in the Tournament, including the shipment of prizes or the transfer of monetary rewards, must not violate local laws, and a reasonable method for shipping prizes or transferring monetary rewards must be available.
19. During the Tournament period, you must have access to a Discord account for communication purposes and be a member of the Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team official Discord server (https://discord.gg/6tyEs48).

4.2 Rules
4.2.1 Match Rules
1. The Tournament will follow a single-elimination format.
2. The Tournament will be conducted as a series of matches, all held using Group Matches in Online Mode.
3. The match regulations are as follows:

4. If the match ends in a draw after overtime, the winner will be determined by a penalty shoot-out.
5. Participants who engage in behavior that violates the Tournament’s Terms (TOT) or public order and morality will be disqualified or removed from the Tournament. (The Organiser holds the sole authority to determine whether the behavior is inappropriate.)
6. If a match is interrupted due to a connection issue, the resume function will be used to restart the match.
7. The resume function can be used for up to 5 minutes after the disconnection.
8. If the match cannot be restarted using the resume function, the following rules will apply:
a. If the connection issue occurs during the first half, the match will be replayed regardless of the score.
b. If the connection issue occurs during the second half and the score is tied or there is a one-goal difference, the match will be replayed.
c. If the connection issue occurs during the second half and there is a two-goal difference or more, the player with the higher score will be declared the winner.
d. If the connection cannot be re-established within 10 minutes of disconnection, the disconnected participant will be declared the loser.
e. In the case of a rematch, neither participant may make changes to their team configuration (Starting Members, Reserves, or Bond Deck players). Any changes to the team configuration, whether made before or after the rematch, will result in a loss for the offending participant.
9. As a general rule, the participant who causes an interruption during a match will be declared the loser.
10. If a participant cannot be contacted by the scheduled match time on the day of the Tournament, that participant will be disqualified.
11. Participants must use their own devices and network connections.
12. The option to use manual controls during defence can be turned on or off by participants before matches.
13 Use of VPN (Virtual Private Network)
13.1 Prohibition of VPN Usage
The use of VPN (Virtual Private Network) services, tools, or services that spoof IP addresses is strictly prohibited for participation and gameplay in the Tournament. This policy aims to prevent impersonation, cheating, and other fraudulent actions, ensuring fairness in the tournament.
13.2 Exceptional Permission for VPN Usage
VPN usage may be permitted in exceptional cases where deemed reasonable by the Organizer, including but not limited to:
a. In cases where network regulations in certain countries require VPN usage for stable game connectivity.
b. When payment services are restricted in certain countries, necessitating VPN usage for normal functionality, or when VPN usage is indispensable in daily activities.
c. Other cases individually recognized as valid by the Organizer.
13.3 Pre-Approval and Review Process
Players wishing to use VPNs must submit an application via Discord at least seven days before the preliminary tournament, including the information listed below. The Organizer will review the submitted information, and VPN usage will be permitted only for players whose applications are deemed valid. The results of the review will be communicated individually.

b. Specific reasons for VPN usage
c. Name of the VPN service intended for use
13.4 Regulations on Network Latency
Players, including those permitted to use VPNs, must not intentionally cause significant network latency that may unfairly advantage or disadvantage other players. If the Organizer detects abnormal ping values, matches may be paused or replayed to maintain fairness.
13.5 Technical Monitoring
To ensure fairness, the Organizer will record and monitor players’ connection logs. If misconduct or violation of regulations is suspected, the Organizer may request the submission of connection logs and related information.
13.6 Consequences for Violations
The following actions will be considered severe breaches of regulations and will result in disqualification from the Tournament:
a. Using VPN without prior approval.
b. Providing false reasons for VPN usage.
c. Utilizing VPN for purposes other than those permitted.
4.3 Invitation to the Final Tournament
Within the tournament held between the 32 players who made it through the Second Qualifier, those 8 players who win two consecutive matches will be invited to the Final Tournament.
4.4 Final Tournament Invitation Spot Advancement
1. If a player contacts the Organiser to declare their withdrawal, or the Organiser deems that a player will not be able to participate due to various circumstances, the right to participate will be granted to the next highest player on the list, in accordance with the criteria below.
1. Player has at least one win in the Third Qualifier
2. In the case that there are multiple players who meet criteria “1.”, a determination will be made according to the following order of priority.
a. Player with the highest total goals scored across all Third Qualifier matches. (Any goals scored in penalty shoot-outs after Extra Time each match are not included.)
b. Player with the least goals conceded across all Third Qualifier matches.
c. Player with the most shots across all Third Qualifier matches.
d. Player with the most Match-Up victories.
3. If the Organiser is unable to confirm a participant’s participation by approximately 1 week prior to the Final Tournament (JST), the slot will be treated as forfeited, and the matches for that slot will be considered lost by default.
5. Final Tournament
5.1 Entry Qualifications
Players who meet all of the following criteria will be invited to the Final Tournament:
1. Have achieved the required results in the Third Qualifier, and received an invitation to the Final Tournament.
2. Have concluded their performance agreement with the Organiser before competing in the Final Tournament.
3. If the Organiser is unable to confirm a participant’s participation by approximately 1 week prior to the Final Tournament (JST), the slot will be treated as forfeited, and the matches for that slot will be considered lost by default.
5.2 Rules
1. The Final Tournament will be conducted in a double-elimination format.
2. All other rules will follow those outlined in “4.2.1 Match Rules” from 2. onward.
6. Revocation of Participation Eligibility
The Organiser reserves the right to revoke a participant’s eligibility to participate in the Tournament under the following circumstances:
1. If the Organiser determines that the participant has violated the Terms of the Tournament (TOT).
2. If the Organiser determines that the participant is engaged in anti-social activities, is affiliated with or belongs to an anti-social organisation, or has any association with such entities.
3. If the participant has violated the Terms of KLab Inc.’s tournaments in the past, or been sent off or disqualified.
4. If the Organiser deems the participant’s participation in the Tournament inappropriate for any other reason.
7. Prize Money
7.1 Prize Money Allocation
The total prize pool for this Tournament is ¥10,000,000, distributed as follows:
1. Champion (1 player): ¥6,000,000
2. Runner-Up (1 player): ¥2,000,000
3. Third Place (1 player): ¥1,000,000
4. Fourth Place (1 player): ¥500,000
5. Fifth to Eighth Place (4 players): ¥100,000 each
6. Special Award (1 player): ¥100,000
* As stated in Sections 7.2 and 7.3, a certain amount will be deducted from the above figures for taxes and other applicable charges.
7.2 Payment
1. The Organiser will pay the prize money to the Winner authorised to receive the prize money as based on their Tournament results (hereinafter, “Winner”) as below. Details on provision of the prize money will be announced or communicated to the Winner by the Organiser after the end of the Tournament.
2. To receive the prize money, Winners must submit the necessary payment information to the Organiser by the designated deadline.
3. If a Winner fails to submit the required payment information to the Organiser in a timely manner, the Organiser may withhold the prize money. If all required information is not submitted by the designated deadline, the Winner’s right to receive the prize money will be revoked.
4. Prize money will only be paid via transfer to a bank account under the Winner’s name.
5. The right to receive prize money cannot be transferred to a third party.
6. Prize money will be paid in Japanese Yen (JPY) at the amounts specified in Section 7.1.
7. Prize money will be transferred in Japanese Yen (JPY) in principle. However, if transferring the prize money in Japanese Yen will prove infeasible due to reasons attributable to the receiving bank, we may deem it pertinent to transfer the prize money in a currency designated by ourselves. If making the transfer in a currency other than JPY, conversion from JPY to the relevant foreign currency will be calculated as per the exchange rate set by our designated bank on the date of transfer.
When the transferred prize money arrives in the Winner’s designated bank account, it will be converted to the local currency at the exchange rate set by the receiving bank. Payment will be deemed complete as based on the transfer currency (JPY or other currency designated by ourselves) at the time of the transfer. We take no responsibility for any changes (including exchange rate fluctuations) to the amount received as a result of any currency conversions.
8. Fees associated with overseas transfers will be borne by KLab Inc. However, if fees are incurred by the Winner’s receiving bank or intermediary bank (including conversion fees and other charges related to currency exchange as described in Section 7.7), these fees will be the Winner’s responsibility.
9. Additional terms and conditions may apply to the receipt and use of prize money.
7.3 Taxes
1. When making payment of the prize money to the Winner, the Organiser will deduct the prescribed withholding tax and other taxes from the prize money as per the laws of Japan and other relevant countries. Tax rates and other taxations will be determined as per the laws in effect on the date of payment.
2. Prize money may be subject to applicable taxes in the Winner’s place of residence (including, but not limited to, income tax and withholding tax). It is the responsibility of each Winner to consult with their local tax advisor to determine what taxes apply to them and to ensure that those taxes are properly paid to the relevant tax authorities.
7.4 Disclaimer
1. If there are errors in the registration information, failure to submit the required information by the deadline, false reporting, or any violation of these Terms of the Tournament (TOT) deemed by the Organiser to be inappropriate for the awarding of prize money, the prize money will be revoked.
2. KLab Inc. assumes no responsibility in cases where prize money cannot be transferred due to incomplete or delayed submission of information.
3. By accepting the prize money, Winners agree to release the Organiser from any liability, loss, or damage arising from or related to the awarding, receipt, use, or misuse of the prize money, or participation in any prize-related activities.
4. If the prize money is not awarded due to reasons attributable to the Winner, such as declining to accept the prize or having their eligibility revoked, an alternative Winner will not be selected.
8. Prizes
1. Prizes awarded to top-ranking players in the Tournament will be as announced separately by the Organiser. However, the details of such prizes may be subject to change due to logistical considerations.
2. In-game item prizes will be sent directly to your Present Box. Please note that winners will not be contacted individually regarding these items.
3. As a general rule, physical prizes will only be shipped once.
4. Prize shipments are scheduled to begin in December 2026, but this timeline is subject to change due to production delays or other circumstances.
5. Please understand that we may be unable to ship prizes to certain countries due to local circumstances.
6. Customs authorities in your country may require payment of customs duties or other fees upon receiving prizes. Please note that the Organiser cannot cover these costs. Please consult your local customs or relevant authorities regarding such payments.
7. If prizes cannot be delivered due to reasons attributable to the recipient, such as errors or omissions in the name, address, or phone number provided, the shipment may be invalidated. The Organiser will not be held liable for unreceived prizes unless the issue arises from intentional acts or gross negligence by the Organiser.
8. Prize deliveries may experience significant delays due to factors such as COVID-19 or other international circumstances impacting logistics. Regulatory authorities may also halt or dispose of shipments. The Organiser assumes no responsibility for issues such as loss or disposal by shipping agencies.
9. The right to receive prizes is valid only for the individual recipient and cannot be transferred, sold, or loaned to third parties.
9. Prohibited Conduct
1. Violating the Tournament’s Terms (TOT) or other applicable Rules, etc.
2. Failing to follow the instructions or requests of the Organiser, or intentionally obstructing the progress or operation of the Tournament.
3. Disclosing information related to the management of the Tournament to external parties without permission.
4. Making false statements or providing false information during application or registration.
5. Engaging in harassment, abusive language, or hateful behavior on social media or similar platforms.
6. Engaging in inappropriate acts contrary to public order and morals, or participating in commercial, political, or religious activities during the Tournament.
7. Transferring or lending the right to participate in the Tournament to a third party.
8. A person other than the account owner impersonating the account owner to participate in the Tournament.
9. Intentionally exploiting in-game bugs or glitches.
10. Using an inappropriate or offensive player name that violates public order and morals.
11. Violating the Terms of Use (TOU) defined by KLab Inc. for Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team.
12. Participating in the Tournament while under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances (including any substances prohibited by the laws of Japan or the participant’s country of residence).
10. Penalty
The Organiser reserves the right to impose penalties on any participant found to be in violation of the Tournament’s Terms (TOT) or other applicable rules and regulations. Such penalties may include declaring a participant’s match as a loss, revoking their eligibility to participate in the Tournament, or withholding any prizes or monetary rewards.
11. Recordings and Media Coverage During the Tournament
Players who have qualified to participate in any of the Qualifiers or the Final Tournament (hereinafter, “Participating Players”) must agree to each of the following items.
1. Personal information (such as your full name, player name, and other game information, as well as player photos and comments) may be used on websites created by the Organiser, in promotional materials related to the Tournament, in news and media reports, within the app, and in broadcasts both during this year and in subsequent years.
2. Printed materials, videos, and content produced by the Organiser in connection with the Tournament may be used for commercial purposes, including in news and media coverage.
3. Participating Players selected by the Organiser must appear in designated interviews.
4. During the Tournament, the Organiser may record gameplay footage (e.g., in-app gameplay videos) and interviews, and broadcast them via live internet streams. Additionally, these recordings may later be published on websites, video streaming services, or at events created by the Organiser.
5. The Organiser will record the Tournament, including in-app gameplay footage and videos of Participating Players during gameplay. These recordings may be broadcast live over the internet and later displayed on the Organiser’s website, video streaming platforms, or on television.
6. Participating Players must provide personal information, such as their full name, age, and address, to the Organiser when required.
7. Participating Players agree not to claim portrait rights, publicity rights, or other rights related to privacy. Participants will not exercise any rights over the use of their likeness or personal information in relation to the Tournament as permitted by the Organiser. Furthermore, even if applicable laws allow the withdrawal of consent for personal data processing or requests for the deletion of personal data, participants agree not to exercise such rights.
8. Participating Players have the option to show their faces. Please contact the Organiser when participating in the Third Qualifier and Final Tournament.
9. Participants must follow the instructions and guidance of the Organiser during the Tournament and must not engage in behavior that causes inconvenience or discomfort to other participants, regular users, or members of the public.
12. Handling Personal Information
The Organiser will handle the personal information obtained from participants in connection with the Tournament in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Japan and the guidelines issued by the relevant authorities. The Organiser will exercise due care as a responsible administrator to ensure the proper management of such information.
Furthermore, any personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of providing, hosting, and managing the Tournament (including related arrangements), communicating with participants in relation to the Tournament, and for the matters outlined in Sections 11.1 to 11.5 above. Purpose of Use: In addition to the purposes stated above, the collected information will be used for the delivery of prizes or the transfer of monetary rewards.

Players advancing to the Third Qualifier and Final Tournament will be required to choose a username (hereinafter, “Registered Name”) to use in the Tournament upon confirmation of their participation in the Third Qualifier. This Registered Name will be used in each event and Tournament chart during the Tournament period.
13. Governing Laws and Jurisdiction
1. All matters pertaining to the Tournament and agreement are based on Japanese law and will be interpreted and applied by Japanese law.
2. All litigation and other disputes pertaining to the Tournament and the Rules, etc.are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court in the first instance.
14. Exemption from Responsibility
1. The Tournament may be cancelled or rescheduled due to game server trouble, natural events, or other extenuating circumstances. The Organiser will not be responsible for reimbursing costs incurred by the delay or cancellation of the Tournament, no matter the circumstances.
2. If the Tournament is postponed, cancelled, interrupted, or held in a different format for any reason, the Organiser will not be responsible for supporting players.
3. Participation in the Tournament will be undertaken at the participant’s own risk. Except for what was outlined in the TOT, any accidents, loss of valuables, burglary, or other trouble are solely the responsibility of the participant.
4. Unless specified in the TOT, fees for purchasing and distributing devices, internet connection and other expenses necessary for participation will be the responsibility of applicants.
5. Please note that we cannot answer any individual questions regarding selection results or reasons for revocation.

15. Changes to the Terms or the Tournament
The Rules, etc. the Tournament contents, and the dates are available on the dedicated website (https://www.tsubasa-dreamteam.com/dcs/) and are subject to change without prior notice or warning. By proceeding in the participation of the Tournament the participant agrees to revision of the Rules, etc.
